A flat tire was not on the schedule today.

Thankfully, J&M Tire Shop was open and we met Carlos Jimenez!

Carlos is one of the heroes from the recent plane crash in Laredo, one of the brave individuals who was onsite and ran toward the crash to help.

I learned, he wasn't able to make the recognition ceremony because he was working.

It was an honor to meet you and a beautiful reminder that good people are out there quietly doing their work.

A big thank you to Carlos for the kindness, the help, and for turning an unexpected stop into one of those little moments that makes you appreciate the people in this community.
