Erika’s Kitchen Spices has been given an amazing opportunity through Nevada Grow and Nevada SBDC - along with Henderson Chamber of Commerce and City of Henderson we were one of ten small businesses awarded the opportunity to be a part of a small business cohort that gives us some amazing chances to grow in our businesses here in Henderson!
This last week, we attended a meet and greet with city council members and other leaders and at the last minute, they asked each of us to stand up and share about our business!
To say I was nervous was an understatement. You’ll see by the edits - every time it cuts away was when I said “and, ummmmm…” !! 🤪😩 PUBLIC SPEAKING FAUX PAS NUMBER ONE!!
But not only did I get through it, I was able to meet some amazing city leaders who were not only just great humans, but also very encouraging about my business! It was such an amazing experience. One I will remember for years to come.
