As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to say thank you to every single person who bought popcorn from us this year. Without your support we would not have made it this far
This year was extra special because Penny Pop Popcorn celebrated 5 years! 🎉 🍿
It's so crazy to think this all started back in 2020 when my mom found a giant kettle corn machine for sale on Craigslist and said, “Hey… what if we combine our stimulus checks and start a popcorn business?” And somehow… here we are.
Some days I ask myself, “Why did I do this to myself?” 😂
From fingers going numb from bagging and heat-sealing, to burns from unpopped kernels flying at me covered in molten sugar. But then I remember how blessed I am to be away from a toxic job, to spend every day working with people I love, and to somehow always smell like delicious caramel corn.
Penny Pop literally would not exist without my family.
I hope they know how much I love and appreciate them.
A few things to look forward to in 2026…
-We are in the beginning stages of launching a website.
-We are working on adding a loyalty program called Lucky Penny's.
-We are adding new mascots into our branding. (You can see the concept art I made on the back of a ripped popcorn bag if you scroll to the second image 😆)
-Designing new packaging.
-We’re hitting the road! In 2026, Penny Pop will be popping up in California, Arizona, and Washington!!
-Lastly, I'm hoping we’ll finally get a bagging
machine 🤞😅
