Currently in 2019 there are nearly 0 federal regulations around Japanese whisky! Many of your favorites may actually be distilled in Scotland or The United States...

Now many people will say this is detrimental to the Japanese Whisky industry, or that it devalues some of the whiskies that we see from that country. However it is our opinion that as long as you like the product and it provides us as consumers an opportunity to keep finding new and exciting whiskies from Japan who cares about the rest.

Like what you like and don't let anyone ever tell you that you're wrong for liking something.

Terrible news out of Jim Beam today. It has been a rough year for rick houses in Kentucky but out of tragedy there could be innovation.

Our Mission

Since 2005 The Whisky Attic has continues to deliver the most unique whisky tasting experience in Las Vegas. We house one of the largest collections of whisky in the world with nearly 4000 unique bottling’s.

Your experience with us begins with an educational seminar that we referent to as Whisky 101. Questions are welcomed during the seminar, as it is a dialogue and not a speech. Our goal to make sure our guests leave smarter and happier than when they come in.

After Whisky 101, and depending upon your choice of experience, each member of your party is administered a flavor profile assessment. Along with the discussion with your party the assessment informs us on some ideas for the flight of whisky for your tasting. The idea of the whiskies is to both expand and illuminate your palate.

Before tasting you will learn the revolutionary tasting technique CSTEM (Carmer Spirits Tasting Enhancement Method) developed by our Founder and Curator Sir Adam Carmer.
