🌱Meet the farmers 🥒
Kyle & Janelle here at Green Table Farm. We have a lot of new followers 👏🏻 so we wanted to re-introduce ourselves.
🫶🏼We work full time jobs while operating the farm. Janelle is a School Nurse and Kyle does Commercial Real Estate. We are weeknight and weekend farm warriors trying to fit in life with kids, farm animals and farm planting/harvesting.
The farm work is done by hand by the two of us. Jim helps us once a week as a volunteer. Our two boys are 7 & 10 years old who embrace the farm dream 🩷
🥬Our passion is providing organically grown seasonal produce to our community. While we are not certified organic, we use the same practices. The only spray ever applied is the occasional compost tea and water. We hand pull weeds and pests. Compost and cover crops replenish and feed our soils.
🥕Eating locally provides more nutrient dense foods that’s ripe and has more flavor with less pollution and environmental impact.
🛒How to shop: Website www.greentablefarmlv.com shows weekly products allowing free local pickup in Town Square, near IKEA, AnnRd/Tenaya or Skye Canyon.

Tomorrow (Thursday 7/23) is berry order pickup day 🎉
Frys 8:00-8:45am we will be in the north side of the old Fry’s parking lot. Kyle will be in a grey Corolla Cross.

Home at Tropicana/Hualapai 3:30-6:30pm. If you chose this option and I haven’t messaged you the address please reach out.

9:15-9:45am at Foxhill Park (Antelope Ridge Dr, 89138). Janelle will be in a white Ford F-350 by the roundabout in the park parking lot.

B Fitness will be inside the gym after 10:30am. We will text you a door code.

5:00-5:30pm at Target (95 and Cheyenne)-in parking lot on south side by Cheyenne right next to the construction area. Kyle will be in a grey Corolla Cross.

A few notes for optimal enjoyment:
Check your produce prior to leaving the pickup location, once you leave no refunds will be given.

Summer heat causes plants to do what’s called bolting, flowering. This allows the plant to create seeds. I prolong this process as long as possible by pinching off the flowers one to two times a week. At the end when you’re ready, you can allow the plant to create seed and then save that for next year‘s planting.
