So…….this is 48. Two years away from a half-century. If you asked me if I noticed a difference between the 28 year old me and this one, I would probably tell you that, aside from achy knees and a few pounds, there’s not much of a difference physically, but the mental and maturity gap is as wide as the Grand Canyon.

And NO, I’m not having a midlife crisis. No yellow Ferraris or Botox for me. I just want peace and quiet and a place to think and ponder about what we are doing with our lives and where/when to retire.

9 years! Holy moly! Doesn’t feel like 9, to be honest. Although we have grown older and more stubborn, it’s good to know that we can still joke around and have a good time with one another. I guess the random trips to Target and the mall can continue as long as we go get sushi or KBBQ afterwards - oh and boba! 😂

9 years down, 9 more to go! It’s a helluva milestone in this day and age. Happy Anniversary ♥️ Love ya like a fat kid loves cake 🍰

Anyone who knows me knows that I love trying out different food spots, especially in Las Vegas. This braised beef short ribs from was phenomenal. Zenshin is known for their sushi (which we loved) but this entree is a must-try when you dine there.

The restaurant is located at the South Point resort just outside of the strip. Get there early because it gets packed around dinner time.
