Had an awesome day today on the trail with some great friends and members of the Las Vegas Metro Mounted Patrol! First time they've experienced gaited horses. Might just lure them from the dark side! LOL. That is me on the Left with the very beautiful Miss Bella my SSH. My friend Jenn is on my (if I do say so myself) gorgeous QH Lakota second from right. And that is Maverick 3rd from the right being ridden by one of the very recently retired Metro officers. She is in awe of how smooth they are!

Hi All! Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the New Year! We had a little hiatus for the holidays. We are back and gearing up for spring. Have brought in some really nice horses. Hope to have them on website in next week or so. We have an 8 y/o 15.2 hh Buckskin Gelding with an awesome gait and personality! An 8 y/o 15.1h Palomino gelding and a 14.3 h blue roan gelding. New horses just came in and more on the way!! We have a gorgeous 8 y/o champagne tobiano with tons of trail miles and canters and some natural horsemanship training. A beautiful 9 y/o 15hh black and white gelding and a gorgeous 13 y/o tricolor tobiano 15.3hh. Stay tuned!

So over a year ago I bought Sweet Sara from ATH. I was in horse love and she was awesome. Five months after I purchased her I hit a very bad bump in the rode. With out going in to detail there were ten months where Sara and I were separated and I lost hope in ever being reunited with her. I spent many sleepless nights worrying about her fate. A few weeks ago an opportunity presented itself and though it's not going to be easy, I had to take it. So my beautiful, wonderful Sara is back in my life and I couldn't be happier. That is, until tonight. In the ten months of our separation, Sara had been ridden once. Tonight I decided to bring her in and just play with her, do some groundwork, and bond, but I wanted to ride. I had a friend with me so if anything happened someone would be there. She stood in the cross ties like a perfect lady, absolutely loved being groomed, and took being saddled like she did it just yesterday. I led her around the arena and finally decided it was time. I was nervous but her calm, attentive demeanor gave me the courage. She was perfect. Within one lap around the arena all my nervousness disappeared and I was the happiest I have been in a long, long time.
All of that being said, thank you so much for putting out the best quality horses. Sara was a dream when I got her and she still is to this day. I couldn't ask for a better horse. I took a chance purchasing her sight unseen but she has yet to ever disappoint me and tonight just reaffirmed that I bought the right horse from the right people.

I saw your story about Prince, and see he is a lovely boy. A little about me, I own 2 Friesians,( 9 and 18) 1 Morgan( 28) and 1 Tenn. Walker cross,(24), who is my smartest horse and my best trail horse. Three of the above are retired for various reasons. I ride and drive my 9 year old Friesian. I am 66 years young, love to trail ride, do parades, and love clinics. I have the horses at home, and have started my search for another Tenn. Walker to take good care of me. I will not show this horse, except for local back yard shows under saddle. I just want to get to the mountains again, and I need someone who would love to ride with my friend's young horse to gain confidence, and have a trail buddy.
I do ride my 9 year old on some trails, however, he not a seasoned trail horse, but may be someday. I have had the pleasure of raising this horse, and working with him under carriage and saddle. He has been wonderful to raise and now is maturing. We are showing in training shows with my dressage instructor this summer for fun for MOM.
As I age, 15 hands suits me well, and experience is the key for me.
I ride in small groups, many day trips, and live in Northern Denver. I own my own rig, and small horse property. I do all my own chores, and live closely with my horses. I love having them, I am doing things I never had the opportunity to do as a child or young adult.
I have many horse lady friends who do various trips, camping, and horse B and B's. As a retired educator, I like to plan my experiences with my horses so I have goals to work on.
I have references from previous owners of the horses I currently have, vets, farrier, and trainers I have used over the years..
This winter has been hard on my Morgan, and I keep a watchful eye on him. He was my first horse and the reason I live where I am now.
Let me know your thoughts, as I respect your concerns over the placement of your friend.
