Real talk for a minute, because this is a BIG deal. H**p beverages are under genuine threat in at the federal level right now. And if folks like us don't speak up and say something, these beverages will be banned in November of 2026.

We at Kick Fizz believe this category should be regulated, tested, age-gated, and done right — and the way it stays available is people speaking up before the vote, not after. So here's the ask, and it's small: 60 seconds tops.

Look up your state representative, send a short note, tell them you support keeping regulated, low-dose h**p beverages legal and on the shelf. Let's clear something up, because the h**p beverage category has an education problem and it's nobody's fault for being confused.

What even IS a h**p beverage? Plain version: it's a normal drink — a seltzer, a soda, a mocktail — infused with cannabinoids that come from h**p. Usually that's CBD plus a low amount of THC (the part that gives a gentle lift). The reason it's available the way it is comes down to one number: under U.S. federal law, "h**p" means the cannabis plant and its derivatives containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight.

That single threshold is the whole legal line between h**p and ma*****na — same plant species, different THC level, very different rules.

Here's the honest part we won't skip: treat it like you'd treat alcohol. One is a nice way to take the edge off; several is a different evening. Start low, go slow, give it time before having more, and never drink it before driving. And always 21+ only.
