Back in February at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Access Live trade show, Kick Fizz took home Best in Show and Double Gold Medals. That was a real moment for us.

WSWA is one of the most influential trade groups in the entire beverage alcohol industry, and the fact that they are now actively championing h**p beverages tells you exactly where this category is headed.

Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America is running a Save H**p Bevs campaign right now at wswa.org/regulate-h**p, calling for sensible federal regulation of h**p derived beverages instead of bans. Their argument is the same one we make every day. Regulated, low dose, age gated, lab tested, treated like alcohol. That is the model.

A little catching up! Both Day Drinking and Evening Buzz brought home Silver Medals at the 2026 LA High Spirits Awards, and we have been so focused on what's next that we honestly forgot to share.

A shoutout for our friends in North Carolina. There is an active effort underway to ban or severely restrict h**p beverages in NC (and nationally BTW), and a great coalition has formed to push back. It is called Regulate Don't Ruin, and the case they are making is simple. Do not take legal, regulated, low dose h**p beverages off the shelf. Regulate them properly instead.

We support it 💯 . Kick Fizz is a proud member of the H**p Beverage Alliance, the industry group advocating for setting standards, showing up in state houses, and fighting to keep regulated low dose h**p beverages legal and on shelves. If you've ever enjoyed a Kick Fizz, an Evening Buzz on the porch, a Day Drinking at the lake, anything in this category, the HBA is part of why that's even possible.

Do you know that h**p beverages could be banned this November? Not cool.

Two things you can do today. Follow H**p Beverage Alliance and learn what they're working on. And if you live in a state where h**p beverages are being debated, use the HBA action page to send your rep a 60 second note - you don't have to be a member to use it. It works. Your voice counts.

Real talk for a minute, because this is a BIG deal. H**p beverages are under genuine threat in at the federal level right now. And if folks like us don't speak up and say something, these beverages will be banned in November of 2026.

We at Kick Fizz believe this category should be regulated, tested, age-gated, and done right — and the way it stays available is people speaking up before the vote, not after. So here's the ask, and it's small: 60 seconds tops.

Look up your state representative, send a short note, tell them you support keeping regulated, low-dose h**p beverages legal and on the shelf. The HBA (H**p Beverage Alliance) website makes it almost effortless — the Action Center page will help you fill out the form and you don't have to be a member to use it.

We're a small, woman-owned company and we are not going anywhere, but we genuinely can't keep choices like this one available without you using your voice. Thank you for your help! 🙏
