It is with a sad heart that I share our Triton’s passing. He went as he lived... on his terms. He chose a magnificently beautiful day to transition; the sun was shining, birds singing, & leaves rustling. He jauntily walked to his spot smelled around the tree, took it all in then started wheezing. He gave me “that look” so we said our goodbyes. As his body lay there, he looked like he was frolicking about, mane tossed & tail flying just like the picture below. There’s a hole in our hearts without him, he was an exacting teacher at times. Impatient, yet completely loving. What a spunky, feisty guy. He sure lived life on his terms, and he will be greatly missed... I can almost hear him saying, “so long & thanks for all the carrots! I’m onto my next adventure.”
