Logging on and reading everyone’s comments and messages has truly made my heart so happy. It reminded me that I have an amazing community of people who genuinely care, understand, and are willing to help me come back from something that almost made me quit.

I’ve done a lot of thinking over the past couple of weeks, trying to figure out what’s next. Losing so much from our breeding program was heartbreaking, and while it’s still hard, stepping back for a little while was exactly what I needed.

My kiddos start back to school next week, and I plan to slowly ease back into things. We’ve made some changes to our pens and our breeding program, and I’ll be sharing those updates with y’all soon.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the love, encouragement, and support. It means more to me than I could ever put into words, and I’m so thankful to have each of you as part of this journey. ❤️

I have made the decision to step away from social media for a little while and focus on my kiddos and myself until they go back to school. I’ll be back after a much-needed break. 💗

We have also experienced a devastating loss to our breeding program. We lost 7 of our breeding birds, all of our chicks, and half of our grow-out pen. Everything we had hatched and were growing out for next year’s breeding plans is gone.

Right now, I need to take a step back, regroup, and focus on rebuilding. Because of this, I will not be taking any more hatching egg orders for the time being. With this extreme heat, our birds aren’t laying much, so starting over is going to take some time.

I truly appreciate everyone and hope everyone understands. We hope to come back stronger, but for now our focus is on our family and rebuilding our group for next years breeders.💗
