I am SO thrilled to be bringing home my first homebred FINISHED ALPINE!!🥳🥳🥳

CH SUNRISING HFNP SIMPLY NOIR went 2x GCH/BOB, 1x RGCH this weekend and I didn’t realize it, but she has a restricted leg from 2024 (I just checked & verified) so she is now a CHAMPION!🩷🩷

I always KNEW this doe would be special, ever since she was born.

Other fancy results are Sunrising NSM Far Flung going 1x GCH OVER Noir in ring 3, and getting her 2nd championship leg. Only needs one more!! Tempo Aquila Standing Free was also 3x RGCH and Tempo Aquila Drama Free was 1x Reserve behind Noir🙂

We had a good doe show at ODGA as well! To keep the post short, here are the results!

Sunrising HFNP Simply Noir was 1x RGCH. She keeps wowing me this year!! There were over 20 senior Alpines entered.

Sunrising NSM Far Flung & Sunrising Mont Kuvira were always at the high end of a giant 2Yr old class. Super proud of them!! Give them a couple years to mature.

Sunrising HKK Chartreuse, my only fresh Grade doe at the moment, was 2x RGCH, 1x GCH!

Sunrising FM Chiffon did well too, with 1x RGCH, 1x GCH, and then on to win 1x BJDIS!💕

We didn’t take many pics this year, as I was too tired and working too many hours prior to get much special shaving or razoring done. Most of them got their fores touched up with a 40 blade and that was it! We did discover Noir is a big fan of Kool-Aid and Coke!🤣 pictured at the end lol.

NOBLE-SPRINGS HFJ MICAH JOE was 1x RGCH as well, as a surprise to me! I brought him for funsies so he wouldn’t be home alone and he ended up getting a ribbon! Lol.

Now we wait for doe results tomorrow!

I am so thrilled to see this!! Velour, now CH BLUE DAZE VELOUR, is the dam to my young herdsire Blue Daze Valor!!

I knew even when Velour was a Junior doe she would freshen well and do great things. She is having NO issue proving that out and I’m so excited to see her mature even further with Kalina. I can’t wait to see her genetics pair with my herd through Valor :)

Happy Mother’s Day all!

Don’t tell my mom I posted this picture, she’ll probably yell at me!! She is not a fan of it, but I have loved it since it was taken. I think this is the ONLY photo of us together in probably 10+ years!

My mom was who got me started in dairy goats in 2017, when I fell in love with the Alpines. I told her I wanted one and well.. you see how many I have now😜 Wander (on the left), initiated that love, and my ownership of her and many other does started in early 2018! Since then, I have made so many friends and I am so thankful for all of them.

This photo is from 2020, showing Wander as a 3 year old and Lace as an 8 year old 🙂 Lace is no longer with us, but she leaves quite a legacy behind through her daughters and descendants.
