Mi Historia/My Story

Hi, my name is Joselyn. I am 25 years old and approximately 9 months ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. What is lupus? Lupus is an autoimmune disease that occurs when your own immune system attacks its tissue and organs. This disease can cause serious damage to my body including to my heart, skin, lungs, brain, kidney, blood cells, and joints. It is due to this diagnosis that I have taken the initiative to create a page and sell some of the food I make at home for everyone. This way I will be able to collect money to help cover for my medical expenses which some is not covered by my insurance, and to help provide for my baby. Due to this diagnosis, it has become impossible for me to work because I am constantly going to doctor appointments, emergency hospitalizations or unable to work due to severe symptoms.
