George Remus was a lawyer and a licensed pharmacist. He read the Volstead Act closely enough to find the gap, then bought the distilleries on the other side of it.​

They called him the King of the Bootleggers.​

Remus Repeal Reserve Series X — a blend of straight bourbons, [distilled between 2008 and 2017], bottled at 107 proof.​
And beside it, Remus Repeal Reserve Rye. The first rye we've ever put under this label.​
