Excited to be part of Old Town Day of the Dead celebration in Mankato this year! Stop down on October 31st as there will be something for everyone.

We’re getting ready to fill Old town, Mankato Day of the Dead 2026 with culture, music, food, art, family fun and so much more for Day of the Dead 2026!

This map gives you just an idea of what’s happening throughout the five-block celebration—from multiple stages and vendors to Lucha Libre, cultural activities, food trucks, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more.

Why Aitkin?

I get asked quite often on why I drive 3 hours one-way to Aitkin for a farmer’s market and here are just a couple reasons.

We have a place just south of Aitkin, so we really enjoy the area. My husband’s love of fishing is what initially drew us there.

But one of my favorite things about coming to the Aitkin Farmers Market is the people and the energy. I’ve met so many wonderful people and absolutely love the atmosphere of the market.

The beautiful area, the lakes, the people, the customers, and the friendships I’ve made all make those 3 hours worth it.

So, that’s why you’ll continue to see me making the trip north! 😊
