The third weekend of KC Renaissance Festival was such a delight! I met a bird named Charlie, the sweetest Howl, Sophie, and Calcifer trio, and a most royal selfie. Plus (my favorite part)- getting to talk and enjoy all of you. Such a lovely, lovely time because of all of you 🫶🏼🧚‍♀️🏰

It’s opening weekend at KC Renaissance Festival! Huzzah! Feels good to be back. We are nestled in our shady spot at the top of the hill until October 18th 🏰🧚🏼

Could not be more tickled with this year’s new layers- have you ever seen a more dreamy color pallet?? This photo is untouched and all eggs come from homebred birds here at New Atlantis Farm. What an exciting start to our lines! 🌿🍄‍🟫🥚

I have had a little rest (if that’s what you could call spending the past month battling coyotes who have been eating all my birds-yes even a goose) but will be pausing the hunt and back in Atchison this next Friday and Saturday! Can’t wait to see you all! 🔮🖤🐺

What a bounty! 🥛🌞

Fern was the last girl to kid and she had a singleton- as single kids tend to do he has chosen a favorite side so I am left to maintain the forgotten one. Fern is our Nubian girl and I’m so tickled with her production. She is giving this much- twice a day- off just one side. Always so impressed by our ladies. 🎀

Topeka Renaissance festival was such a great time! There were dragons, warrior cows, & reunions with so many friends! What more could you ask for in any adventure???
