This Project has taken me a month - almost - to do. On and off, sometimes because of the weather, other times because I got too frustrated to continue working! But I got it done with the help of God….. always just me and God!

P.S. My wife did drive the tractor a little bit to help me fasten the Perlin.

Reflecting on the past five months, we have accomplished a lot since our move to TN.♥️ The more we are given, the more we are called to care for. I’m learning that when God gives big, the blessings often come with big responsibility...and plenty of problems to solve.

A farm comes with livestock, and “live” stock comes with real-LIVE problems feeding, health care, fencing, shelter, land management, and a learning curve that challenges our comfort zones almost daily.

We’ve built, learned, problem-solved, made mistakes, changed plans, and kept going. I watch my husband sweat, build, repair, and figure things out while I support, nurture, learn, and care for all that we’ve been blessed with. Five months ago, so much of this was just an idea. Today, I look around and see how far we’ve come. It’s hard work. It’s stretching us. And I could not be more grateful.

The blessing is not only in what God gives us - it is in who we become learning to care for it.🙏🏼

PS - approval thanks to Shemini Atzeret Farms, Simply Feathered Acres and Rice & Shine Farms.

The freshness from the farm to our house directly is without parallel, bro! Last night's steak and now tonight's dinner.

I love it when I put in the effort, take a risk try something new and it completely works out. The spinach bread is off the chain…..

As you know, I’m a cook and I enjoy cooking bread, one of my favorite things to cook. Today’s experiment is spinach bread.

My wife didn’t think I was right, but I’m showing the roosters can’t live together….when there are hens are in the coop!
(Wife: I surrender and realize we may have to cull him, just not sure coop or freezer)

We obviously never rehearse our videos! Made some mistakes here! 😂 I'm a "prepper" in heaven. We are grateful for the life given and the hands that raised it.
Ingle CattleCattle thank you!

~ Good morning from Jon Wayne! He is so friendly and loves to be close to us whenever he sees us! He loves chin scratches and head kisses. I want him to stay this size and not go into rut forever. 😂 Kidding not kidding (literally)!
