On the Bar Fly

On the Bar Fly On the Bar Fly Blog and Podcast. This website is full of our opinions, views, observations, and a whole lot of crap we just want to share.

On the Bar Fly Blog and Podcast, join us for adventures as we explore the world, indulge in food and drinks, and discuss our experiences. Road Side Pit Stops blog started in 2009, where we wrote reviews on the many little pubs, taverns, and dives we came across during our travels. We travel quite a bit for business purposes, but we also get to spend some quality free time with the locals.

Now th

e On the Bar Fly Podcast and Blog is born from many years of gathering pictures and fun experiences to share. The purpose is to have fun, not to take anything too seriously and of course, there is beer. We try our best to add pictures and write amazing reviews but as I said there is beer.

As Fe and Mo, we are Social Travel Enthusiasts. We love small places that offer something different. I have gathered many pictures, which I hope to put together above; these pictures are with bands, and people and some other people or just whatever is just weird.

We will provide guides and share accounts of good, bad, and crazy fun places to visit around the world.

I hope you will join the Pit Crew, so we can get to know each other. Join us on our journey as we update the site. Not all information is useful and most likely most of it is not useful at all. But enjoy and grab a beer.

What the beer ratings mean

1 beer = Poor. There’s nothing good about the restaurant. We won't be returning.

2 beers = Okay. The restaurant has one or two good qualities. It might be a delicious dish, helpful staff, or an inviting atmosphere. Still, will probably not visit again.

3 beers = Good. A fine example of a specific kind of restaurant. It can be delicious food with excellent service. Will think about returning if we enjoyed the food, drinks, and service.

4 beers = Excellent. Delicious food, appealing atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service. Will be on the return list

5 beers = Extraordinary. Meets an elite standard by which you judge all other restaurants. The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented.
