Adios Oregon State Fair. Mother Nature was kind to us this year with excellent weather. As a kid mom and calf mom, the best part was watching calves we raised and trained be excellent citizens for their handlers. Cassie can't always be on the halter and I love watching our calves show for other kids they just met.

Thank you to all our buyers tonight! We are so excited to see what this group will do. Heart of the Valley sale has calves going to Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, California, Washington and of course our home state of Oregon.

I told Cassie she couldn't start on her steer until after picture day. That was yesterday.... Looks to be going okay.

It is always so fun to see how our calves turn out. Congratulations to our kids at Marion County Fair. They all looked great!

Our local county fair was last week. We got many opportunities to make new friends and spend time with old ones. We didn't take enough pictures because we were just too busy being in the moment. We are especially proud of the two heifers we raised. The fall Point Proven is leased to an amazing young man for his senior year. The yearling is our one and only Nova. These girls are having a much needed break and then will be ready to lead the new kids to state fair in about a month. Sale and show calves are about ready to start kindergarten. Tex is sure excited!
