Our family owned and operated company has its origins in a one-room office in the home of our president, Lou Murino, in 1976. Over the years, the business grew until it became one of the biggest services in all of Northern New Jersey.

Crystals or pellets? Not all water softener salt is created equal! 💧

We recommend salt crystals for most water softeners because they dissolve more easily and are less likely to cause buildup in your salt tank.

Pellets, on the other hand, can sometimes clump together and harden over time, leading to problems with your system.

That being said, some older units actually work better with pellets!

As you guys know, the temperature is starting to drop here in New Jersey, and winter will be here before we know it. 🥶

If you have a water softener, one thing to keep an eye on is your drain line. When temperatures drop, drain lines can freeze and prevent your system from rinsing properly.

A couple signs something isn’t right:
• Salty water
• A brine tank overflowing with water
