Last November, we introduced Community Bonus Bucks as an emergency food relief program. Now, with a few updates, it has returned as an additional match for SNAP shoppers.

We are proud to share that we will be offering Community Bonus Bucks, a market incentive for SNAP/EBT shoppers, at our farmers' markets this summer!

This additional incentive helps further stretch the buying power of low-income households. SNAP shoppers can receive a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $50 in Community Bonus Bucks, in addition to up to $50 through Granite State Market Match, at all of our summer farmers' markets in Durham, Dover, Exeter, and Portsmouth.

To learn more about this opportunity visit https://seacoasteatlocal.org/community-bonus-bucks/

Thank you Bangor Savings Bank Foundation for their partnership to make Community Bonus Bucks possible.

Throughout the month of June, we'll be collecting sunscreen donations at our Portsmouth Farmers' Market in partnership with Cross Roads House

Cross Roads House provides shelter support, and pathways to permanent housing for people in the Seacoast community, and we're honored to support their work in this small but meaningful way. For individuals and families experiencing homelessness, access to sunscreen is often overlooked but incredibly important during the hot summer months.

When you visit the market on Saturdays from 8am-noon, you can drop your donations at the Info Booth.

This partnership is a small way we're working to support our neighbors in need, we hope you can help!
