🍂 Growing Faith in Every Season

What are we really leaving for our children and our children's children?

I've been thinking about that a lot lately as we continue building the dream here at Kindred Acres. ❤️

I shared my heart in our newest blog. I hope you'll take a minute to read it. 👇

Those are the things I want Kindred Acres to be built around.

❤️ **What Was Meant for Harm, God Can Use for Good**

This one is a little different from our usual farm posts.

Life has given me enough years now to look backward and see something I couldn't always see while I was living through it: some of the chapters I never would have chosen became part of the road that brought me to blessings I couldn't have imagined.

That doesn't make the hurt good. It doesn't erase what happened. It simply reminds me that **what was meant for harm doesn't get the final word. God does.**

Today I'm sharing a little faith from the farm—and a lesson I've learned through more than a few seasons of my own.

If you're walking through a chapter right now that you don't understand, maybe this one is for you. ❤️

*"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." — Genesis 50:20*

The road you never wanted to travel takes you somewhere you never would have gone otherwise.

🍂 As summer begins to wind down, something special is taking shape at Kindred Acres...

We've been busy behind the scenes, and we're almost ready to share what we've been working on.

And that's not all... our homemade baked goods will be making their return for the autumn season! Fresh breads, sweet treats, and more are just around the corner.

Stay tuned... the best is yet to come. 🤎🌿

🌿 Sometimes harvest isn't overflowing… sometimes it's simply enough.

After a long drought, the Lord sent rain. I had cucumbers to pickle from my garden, and a friend shared an abundance of zucchini, so I tried something new.

A simple reminder that God's goodness is often found in the everyday blessings.

💚 "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good." – Psalm 107:1

This little basket may not look like much to some folks… but after a dry spring with very little April rain, it feels pretty special around here. 🌱🥚🍅

Fresh eggs from the coop, tomatoes finally ripening, jalapeños headed for this week’s jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread, and sweet potato slips growing strong remind us that even small harvests are blessings worth celebrating.

I shared a new blog post today about learning to appreciate the little things, wasting less, and finding gratitude even in the slower-growing seasons of life and farming.

Sometimes abundance looks different than we expected. ❤️

He is Risen… He is Risen indeed! ✝️

Easter on the farm feels a little different…
The sun rises a little softer, the pastures seem a little greener, and there’s a quiet reminder all around us that new life is always possible.

From empty tomb to open fields, we are reminded today that hope wins, grace covers, and God is always working—often in ways we don’t see coming.

Whether you’re gathered with family, sitting on a porch swing, or just taking a moment between chores… I pray your heart is filled with peace, joy, and the kind of hope that only comes from Him.

Happy Easter from our farm to your family 💛
