For those of you unaware the Clinton County fair starts Saturday!! JD will be bringing market chickens and market turkeys for this year, which will be his very last. We are planning on getting birds butchered shortly after so stay tuned for more information. We encourage everyone to come to the fair and to support the 4-H program. Coming to fair is a huge support because all the exhibitors work very hard to bring projects in and the junior fair works hard to put on the shows. The senior fair has some great events for you to see as well!! Don't forget we do have the sale for the exhibitors if you are interested!!

ADD ONS: Those desiring to assist individual youth exhibitors through financial donations may place “Add-ons” on specific lots. These add on monies will be credited to the youth exhibitor less applicable sale expenses. There is no transfer of ownership implied to any lot by placing “add-ons.....

Hello, my name is Shaleigh Duncan. I am the 2023 Clinton Co. Goat Ambassador and I would like to invite you to our fair this year. I have been in 4-H for 11 years and have enjoyed it every second. I have shown goats and turkeys for 11 years including this year and in the past I showed sheep for 3 years and doing pigs again for the second time. It's a lot of projects but I like to expand my knowledge of different species. In past years I have served a few different royalty positions, including my favorite 2021 Clinton Co. Fair Queen. 4-H is an incredible program that has given me knowledge in leadership, livestock and hard work. Without this program I wouldn't be the person I am today. From the activities I do to showing at the fair to the simple support outsiders bring, it all plays a role in who I am today. Please come out and support our fair and me! It'll mean the world to us because your support doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone is so appreciative of the kindness you guys share to support us. Sadly this will be my final year and saying goodbye to this program is going to be very difficult. I'm very honored and blessed to have been here showing in this county. I hope you can come and see all the hard work people have put into their projects! Stop on out at the Clinton Co. Fair July 8th-15th!

Hello, my name is JD Duncan. I've been in 4-H for 9 years and I’m currently showing market turkeys this year. I currently attend Laurel Oaks pursuing Aviation Mechanics and will be a senior this fall. This year I got the great opportunity to be a cloverbud camp counselor, camp has been an absolute blast! I got to help out with the day camps and the over night one as well. 4-H is a great program and I'm asking you to come out and see the great things it offers and anything else at the Clinton County fair. This year I'll be taking 2-4 market turkeys to the fair along with doing activities for the Junior Fair Board. These projects take a lot of work but are a lot of fun and help me learn and grow. I would love for you to come out and see my projects during the fair, July 8-15. Please come out and support me, 4-H, FFA, and the Clinton County Fair. As fair week has passed we would like to tell you about some of the wonderful accomplishments we've had. For turkeys with our white ones we received 1st and 3rd. In bronze we received 1st in both classes. Now as we are entering August we are going to be selling whole and half turkeys very soon!! So if you're wanting a turkey for Thanksgiving or any other holiday or occasion buy a homegrown turkey from us!! We take pride in what we do and raise! Congratulations to everyone at the 2022 Clinton Co. Fair this year!

Hello, my name is Shaleigh Duncan. I am the 2022 Clinton Co. Poultry Ambassador and I would like to invite you to our fair this year. I have been in 4-H for 10 years and have enjoyed it every second. I have shown goats and turkeys for 10 years including this year and in the past I showed sheep for 3 years and pigs for one here. It's a lot of projects but I like to expand my knowledge of different species. Last year I got the honor to be the 2021 Clinton Co. Fair Queen where I got to represent this amazing county and grow myself more than I could ever imagine. 4-H is an incredible program that has given me knowledge in leadership, livestock and hard work. There are so many benefits you can gain from it that I wish more people would become involved. Please come out and support our fair and me! It'll mean the world to us because your support doesn't go unnoticed. The money I get from the sale will go to a savings account to help me pay for college as I will be attending Morehead State University in Kentucky this fall. Also as part of the junior fair board we are doing a contest between 4h clubs to get the word and thank you out to our sponsors at the fair. So come out and support the Clinton County Fair!
