We have a lot of new followers so we figured we would introduce ourselves!
🔥☕ Meet the People Behind Smokepoint — Robbie & Amanda! ☕🔥
Believe it or not, Smokepoint started with one completely random thought.
One day, Robbie woke up and said...
“Hmm... I wonder what smoked coffee would taste like?”
And apparently Amanda’s response was basically, “Well, I guess we’re doing this.” 😂
What started as Robbie’s curiosity quickly became something we both jumped into together—and Smokepoint was born! ❤️
So, who are the people behind all the smoke?
🔥 Robbie is our resident smoke master. If it goes into the smoker, he’s the one behind it. Smoked coffee, smoked cream cheese, and all of our other smoky experiments start with him.
🧁 Amanda handles the baking side of things and most of our social media. So if you’ve ever commented on one of our posts, there’s a pretty good chance you were talking to Amanda. Robbie does occasionally make a rare social-media appearance in the wild. 😂
When it comes to creating new flavors, though, that’s a team effort. Some ideas are Amanda’s, some are Robbie’s, and some probably start with one of us saying, “Okay, hear me out...” 😏
And Smokepoint isn't our only job! We both work at Walmart, and somehow between work, smoking, baking, prepping, packing and Saturday markets, we manage to keep this crazy little adventure going.
☕ As for favorites? Robbie refuses to pick one. Amanda, on the other hand, definitely has hers: Banana Bread Coffee and Caramel Pecan Coffee. ❤️
But our favorite part of Smokepoint isn't really any one product.
It's getting to introduce people to the idea that smoking isn't just for meat. It's watching someone's reaction when we tell them about smoked coffee or smoked cream cheese for the first time. It's getting to work together, being part of the market, meeting new people, and getting to know the amazing community that continues to support us.
And since we're properly introducing ourselves, here's a little bit about Robbie & Amanda outside of Smokepoint...
🖤 We're getting ready to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary this Halloween! 🎃
And yes, Halloween is a pretty fitting anniversary for us because we absolutely LOVE all things gothic and horror. 🖤💀🎃
At the end of the day, Smokepoint is really just the two of us—a husband-and-wife team with a smoker, an oven, a whole lot of flavor ideas, and apparently absolutely no ability to ignore a good “I wonder what would happen if...” 😂🔥
