It’s that time of the year when we celebrate our cofounder, Brian, and his youngest son Owen’s birthday! Each Fall, in honor of Owen, we cook up a specialty cocktail inspired by what Owen is into at the time. This year, Owen turned 6️⃣ and wanted a cocktail with two of his favorite things…lime and salt!

Owen can pound a bag of potato chips, loves salted broccoli, and is always asking for freshly squeezed lime water (so boojie). Tasked with creating something other than a margarita, our crew came up with a salted maple bourbon sour cocktail to fit the season…and it’s delicious!

Check out this birthday cocktail in Roselle, St Charles, and the crew at Pollyanna Social in Lemont will whip something similar up for you!

🧨 Alarmist Flagships now available in cans across all four Pollyanna locations 🧨

Stop by Lemont, Roselle, St. Charles, or our cocktail bar Pollyanna Social to try the core three b**rs that Alarmist Brewing & Taproom has righteously nailed over the years.

For now, you'll find "Pantsless" Pale Ale and "Le Jus," a GABF Gold medal-winning Hazy IPA. "Crispy Boy" Pils is, well, still gettin' crispy in the tanks, but it'll be available shortly, too!

While we're getting into the thick of construction on our newest adventure up Northwest in Chicago, you can enjoy these brews at one of our current spots in the meantime.

This year we're not telling you the b**r style! Your chance with a blank slate to come up with a whimsical, funny, or creative name for the b**r. Be sure to think of both Pollyanna and us. And one hint...we still haven't selected an "Orange you glad..." name, and don't expect this to be the year there's a breakthrough. 😁
