Oh snow! Our downtown shops have been stuck in a deep freeze for two weeks, and it’s iced out their income. For so many of our beloved shops, two weeks without their regular customer base can be the difference between a winter wonderland and a total meltdown.
It’s time to thaw out our local economy with a massive kid friendly "Blizzard of Business!" with Downtown Lenoir Slush Rush (Kid Friendly!)
The Game Plan:
Grab your wallet and your besties (or come solo and meet some new friends!) and let’s show our shops some love.
Where: Meet at the Town Square.
When: Saturday, February 7th at 12:00 Noon Sharp - Until
Plan to have lunch downtown!
To make sure we’re actually helping and not overwhelming, we’re asking for a $10 minimum commitment per person for at least two places of business. We want to make sure we’re filling their registers, not just their floor space! You do not have to patronize every business.
Depending on how big our "avalanche" of shoppers gets, we’ll split into groups with at least one crew taking a detour to Dead Wax Records to grab some music or merch!
