Hidden Spruce Lavender Farm Hidden Spruce Lavender Farm, Cultivating Love! Hidden Spruce Lavender Farm was started in 2017 with a couple dozen lavender plants in the backyard.

The farm has grown to over 4000 lavender plants and still growing. We grow over 20 different varieties, consisting of Lavandula Angustifolia and Lavandula x Intermedia. Propagation of lavender has become an added passion. Our newest adventure in lavender is the distillation of lavender essential oil. A member of the United States Lavender Growers Association (USLGA) and Great Lakes Lavender Grower

Interesting observation…the Michigan bench pictured here sat all winter next to the lavender that has lots of green grow...

Interesting observation…the Michigan bench pictured here sat all winter next to the lavender that has lots of green growth on the left side of the plant…while the right side has only the beginnings of growth same as the rest of the lavender in the same area.
I moved the bench back where it belongs…that’s when I noticed the dramatic growth difference.

The farm kitchen has a door! It’s officially dried in. Next week the outside should be wrapped up.

Just received our soda delivery from St. Steve's / Mud Lake Farms.
We are getting ready for our opening weekend June 6th & 7th.
The lavender ice cream will be frozen, the sodas will be chilled and the coffee cart will be ready!

Huge thanks to American Beauty Sod Farm for having just what we needed. Instant green grass!
Upgrading the power to the farm shop has been quite the journey.
With only a few weeks before the farm opens, sowing grass seed just wasn’t producing the results we wanted.
I’m all about growing but this situation needed something a little different.
