I'm a little late to posting here, but congratulations to Maria and Seth, who were wed at Waveland State Historic Site here in Lexington last month! Their rescue dog, Manny, made an excellent ringbearer for the occasion. It was a fun night of games, dancing, and of course, good times with family and friends. Best wishes to the happy couple!

Minimony/Microwedding/Elopement Package -

$350 for up to one hour of professional photography of your ceremony in the Lexington area, including posed photos on location. You will get a minimum of 40 edited high-resolution images to download.

Had the pleasure of visiting Pick View, LLC. in Ocala, Florida with Studio 34 a few weeks ago to photograph their Runhappy/Strange Romance c**t on a perfect morning. The third photo may be one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. The dog, the grand live oak tree in the background, the golden glow. Especially in dark times, we need to remember these simple, beautiful moments still exist in our world.

Congratulations to Holly Haynes and Ben Haynes, who were married in Cancun, Mexico on Monday! The couple from Forsyth, Illinois, were joined by a small gathering of family and friends at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun in celebration of their nuptials. A small weather system blew through immediately after their sun-soaked ceremony and created some windswept effects, but the rain only lasted a heartbeat. This was truly a beautiful place to get married, and I was so excited to be there to shoot their special day for them.

No Thoroughbred races at the Effingham County Fair last Friday (boo), but we were treated to some exciting Western sprints and a Quarter Horse race! Always so much fun to shoot these fair races.
