My absolute favorite holiday memories are gathering around the island in my grandmother’s kitchen making & decorating sugar cookies so I am beyond excited to share this memory and tradition with you all this holiday season 🎄🥰

My heart is already aching for Italian pastries & decadent desserts but I have good news for you! I am adding another item to my Thanksgiving Holiday pre-order!

During our first dinner in Italy, I ordered a chocolate torte & melted at the table while I ate it. When I declared it the best thing I’d ever tasted, my darling husband tried it & said, “it’s good, but yours is better” to which I scoffed, rolled my eyes and granted him brownie points. Fast forward to our last dinner, which we cooked at our apartment in Florence - I whisked up a quick chocolate torte for our group & the consensus was the same - my recipe stands up to an Italian nonna’s. 😍
