Weather was absolutely perfect for fence work today. It’s only been a year and 3 months since the 4th of July storms of 2025, but we are finally getting to the last of the high fence and border fence around the land fixed. Creek is looking amazing, there are some leaves starting to turn. We might actually have a real fall this year. Great day all in all 10 holes augured and a 100 ft of fence back up.

Welcome Mo Moe Mow aka Kings Cross (Kingsley) but he will just be Mo to us. A few months ago he was still in Kentucky then was sent up to Indiana so he had a long trailer ride this week. Thank you Equine Express transport, arrived safe and sound now let’s get some healthy weight on him then he can join the other 2 thoroughbreds😘 btw he was just a tad taller then they declared (16.3h)he measured in just between 17.1h - 17.2h (Matt called him a giraffe 🦒) he’s 4 years old and a super gentle giant.

Buckets 🪣 cleaned 🧼 new name vinyls applied….the boarder who made them said they are dishwasher safe and have no forgiveness to be removed. She wasn’t joking, messed up one spent over an hour trying to get it off with a straight razor. Basically I told all the boarders, you leave just keep your bucket as a parting gift, I’ll go buy a new one.🤣

What started this past weekend as a little dumpiness, turns into a little snot by Sunday, then a funky, but familiar smell by Monday. Into the dentist Dillon went by midday Monday. Dillon is one of our seniors whose teeth have stopped growing and many of his molars are occlusal to bone. His primary meals are mash but still loves some hay. Tooth extracted, nasal cavity tapped and flushed, antibiotics for the next 10 days. He is home and really not thrilled about not going back to his pasture with his girls. So glad we caught this early. So glad Moore Equine Dentistry is 3 miles down the road.

The smell of fresh hay just baled last week, our poor tractor struggled to lift these new guys. Love our grower we definitely get our moneys worth. They have all been put up in the hay shed with the help of my brother in law Ward. Just an fyi if your family and you visit you get put to work.🤣
