A big Roberts Ranch welcome to Leigh and Skylar. They bring us Charlie & Chevalita (Chevy for short) both are OTTB…and super sweet. They have both settled in nicely and are loving the bantering from each of the pastures. Dillon met Charlie first and I believe a friendship has already formed.🥰

Another successful oral surgery for Dr Moore’s office for Roberts Ranch. Skye will feel so much better now that this rotten tooth is gone. Poor baby, mares are so stoic until her float Monday she gave no indications that this was even occurring. Horse owners always get your horses teeth checked. Dr Ladoucer suspects this has been going on for months.

Clean teeth and “SHINEY” sheaths. Spring floats are all done for this group. Black Jack has the pic of the day, with a tight second of Skye sleeping 😴 off her happy drugs on the stall door. Of course the boys felt violated in all male ways possible🤣 but the barn manager left no crud undisturbed and everyone has sparkling wankers. Thank you Pam, Susan and Hannah for coming out to help….it takes a village!

Another 72ft of fence finished this morning. Now a few week break to save up for another load of pipe$$$. Thanks to the new ranch helper we hired we cruised and finished the 72 feet in three hours. Christopher, Jason & Matt did the lifting and I did the tractor driving. Even our boarder Kellye came down and helped the last hour. Youth is amazing.🤣 it takes a village.

Another productive weekend, we finished another 80ft of 2 rail pipe. Pastures are cleaned worked at de rocking some more...

Just doing what we love…it’s “The Year of the Horse”….and these guys are living their best lives. From one year plus to 37 years old they all have their special place here at Roberts Ranch! Work didn’t stop because of holidays one farrier on Wednesday another today to finish the other half. Boarders enjoyed the beautiful weather we were having the last 2 days and many spent some quality time with their babies. Happy New Year my Farm Fam!
