Meet Birdie!

She's a Barred Rock × Legbar mix and has been with us since we first began our chicken-tending adventure. If you've followed our flock from the beginning, Birdie has been part of the story every step of the way.

🥚 Egg Color: Tan to light brown, often sprinkled with adorable little speckles

🐔 Personality: Friendly, social, and always happy to be picked up for a cuddle

🪱 Favorite Treats: Grubs and frogs

Birdie is the kind of hen that reminds us why we fell in love with chickens in the first place. She's curious, gentle, and always ready to supervise whatever farm project is happening that day.

While some hens prefer to keep their distance, Birdie is perfectly content being held and receiving a little extra attention. And if treats are involved? She's definitely first in line. 😄

As one of our original flock members, she'll always have a special place here at the farm. ❤️
