We enjoy pulling "junk" out of bushes and old barns. This old girl (Farmall M) has been sitting longer than we have been alive and was a tough one to get out. We even left the tire behind us on the way to the trailer.

The girls own personal "cookout" for memorial day. Sure has been a long time since we were feeding hay at the end of May. We are so thankful for the rain the last couple of days.

Are you having a cookout this weekend? Keep us in mind! Hamburger patties are $9/lb and chicken drum sticks and wings are $5/pack. Be confident in where your food comes from!

Brownie (bottle calf on the left) was found in the field alone with no mama to claim her. We had just purchased this group of cows and really thought this calf was a fawn before getting closer. She was the tiniest calf we had ever raised. Fast forward almost 5 years later, Brownie's granddaughter was born today. Happy, healthy, and friendly. This is what it's all about.

Need some good news to end your monday? We picked up pork from the butcher this morning. Your favorite blueberry maple patties are finally back in stock!

Hot and mild sausage, ground pork, blueberry patties, coppa steaks, black pepper and maple bacon, boneless pork chops, ribs, and cheddar bratwursts.

We are hopeful the website will be up and going before long making purchasing easier. For now, just shoot us a private message or call/text and we will put your order together.

There is a lot of prayers, both answered and unanswered, that go into the work that we do every day. I'm reminded of how blessed we are to do what we love. But I'm also reminded of our shortcomings and how we don't always get it right.

I'm not sure it's a compliment when the Lord calls us the sheep of His flock. If you have ever been around them, you know exactly what I mean. This lamb is a prime example. He was running circles in the next field over because he couldn't figure out where everyone else went. But as soon as he heard my voice, he finally figured it out. I am reminded of how the good Shepherd knows each and every one of us and wants each of us to come running to Him. Even if we don't have it all figured out.

We are so thankful for the rain over night!

We currently have a half beef that has become available! Pasture raised and grain finished with ingredients mostly grown on our farm! All boneless-- our standard cut of ribeye, ny strip, filet, sirloin, roasts, cube steak, skirt/flank steak and ground beef. The price is $2000 for approximately 200lb beef. Our waitlist is booked until June so jump on this opportunity while you can, it won't stick around long. Please message if you are interested and share our page if you may have friends looking for fresh, local beef.
