Feeding a few of the pigs this evening. They are on pasture 24/7 and fed fermented feed that is ground right here on our farm with corn we grow. The feed is soaked in water for at least 24 hours which allows for improved digestion and better nutrient absorption. We're not reinventing the wheel over here, just trying to do the best we can to provide you with superior quality products straight to your table. Real food with nothing to hide.

We finished chopping corn silage earlier this week. Corn was clean and some of the best silage corn we have grew so far. We are thankful everything went relatively smoothly with few minor breakdowns. We are excited about having some high quality feed for our cows in just a few short months.

Life is all about perspective. When we wake up, we all get to choose what attitude we are going to have, how you are going to treat your spouse, your kids, your coworkers, your neighbors. We sure don't always get it right but His mercies are new every morning. Are you a glass half-full or half-empty kind of person?

The 4 wheeler ran out of fuel on the way to feed the pigs this morning but I sure got to enjoy a nice view on the walk back.

You heard Arby's has the meats but they haven't heard about us!

How many packs of bacon and patties is in this cooler? Spoiler alert-- its filled to the top with even more after this picture was taken.

New back on pork today is Apple Cinnamon patties. Perfect size for a biscuit or as a side to some pancakes.
