I made a post a little while back about the new callar I purchased for our working boy butters! I think everyone who's visited us on the farm especially those who've adopted one of our pups knows we love, care and do everything we can to protect our whole family. Butters is a working dog but that doesn't mean we don't do everything we can to ensure his safety. Understanding that he runs the farm when I'm home and when I'm not, I really wanted peace of mind and a better ability to ensure his safety when I can't be there to physically have his 6! This caller has been a game changer. The biggest thing is knowing where he's at all the time. If he's not where I think he normally should be I can look up on the app and see his location. On top of that we've been able to use the callar to untrain some of his less than ideal roaming behaviors. This caller is so flexible and easily customizable that it can be trailered to fit about any need!
On top of testing it for a few months for durability I feel like a huge issue with tech like this is knowing that the product is supported. I had no idea ordering through the internet what my experience would be but every question I've asked has promptly been answered by the support team who has also been very open to some of my comments and feedback! Enough so that they asked to hear about my experience to keep making improvements and make sure the collar is doing what it's supposed to do! I haven't received anything for my testimonial I bought the caller full price I just think it's an amazing device. I've trained everything from baboons, camels, seals Blue Jays etc. When you have a good tool it is a huge help and again the biggest benefit for us is helping keep our animals safe!
I've shared a few images that I'll explain here. Not only can you set a perimeter fence but you can set no go zones within the fence, you know if you have a flower bed you want the dogs to stay out of, maybe a lagoon etc. All of this can be set easily within the app. On top of that you also get a physical device that you can place in a real world location as a no-go area inside or outside of your home. You know like if you don't want your dog going in the cat room eating all the cat food :-).
Some of the features I wasn't even aware of was that not only does the callar give audio alerts like a whistle and voice commands but it lets you record your own voice so your animal can hear YOU! For example my collar will say good boy, go home in my voice under different circumstances I have the ability to manually trigger the voice commands as well as set Auto triggers depending on his location and activity. The collar her also vibrates and has ability for E stim.... All of which you have total control of. I also love just pulling up the map of where my dog has been throughout the day. I can learn his movement patterns his typical behaviors and I can see if he's going anywhere I don't want him to be. With all of the flexibility and customizable attributes this caller would be beneficial for just about anyone whether that be a household pet ,a hunting dog or our instance a dog that is outside basically 24/7. In our case the driving feature that made me select this particular collar was the low power feature. Most of the other callers on the market that do similar things have a 24-hour Max charge on the collar which means you're taking the collar off the dog every single day meaning you're leaving them out overnight have to remember the charge the collar at the end of every day etc. I've seen the caller last between 5- 7 days in this low power mode.
