Haggling Hares Co-Op

My definition of RICH has changed.

I don’t want more STUFF.
I want MORE FREEDOM.

A full pantry.
A basket of eggs.
A garden growing food.
Rabbits in the barn.
And the skills to provide for my family with my own two hands.

THIS is wealth. This is freedom. This is rich.

What does rich look like to you? 👇

We've got babies! 9 little hoppers were born this morning. We are grateful on the farm today 🙌

Sad update on the farm; Boss Mama seems to have had a false pregnancy, and Surly Joe's first set of kits did not make it. We have given both some time to rest and are hoping the next attempt at babies is a success 💙

Some positive updates; the bunny barn is almost complete, and a lovely neighbor is gifting us their never used Beekeeping setup for free! Getting the Bees will have to wait until next spring, but its nice to know we don't need to buy much to prep for them now!
The ducks are loving life as well 🦆☀️

Hear that? Babies are (hopefully) on the way!
This mama is pulling fur and getting things ready to go in her nesting box. Her due date is tomorrow, so as long as this is a true pregnancy, we should have our first babies very soon! 🐇 🖤

Rabbits galore! Meet Surly Joe, one of the sweetest rabbits we have ever met, and she's ours 🥰
We now have 9 breeding rabbits total!
Three mamas are expected to have babies next month (including Surly Joe.)
Very excited to (hopefully) have meat in the freezer before fall 🐇
Thank you to all of the awesome breeders that have helped us get here and have been immensely helpful in the learning process.
