Well, the wheat is all off the fields. Now to bale all of the straw. We are all praying for rain so the hay will continue to grow. The second cutting is taking its time. The pigs are growing good. They love being squirted with water on these hot days. Fun fact for the day: pigs cannot sweat, they lack sweat glands. This is why they love to roll in the mud. It helps cool them off during the hot summer days.
We are still tracking down some calves to start raising. If anyone has some connections to a dairy farmer with Jersey cows, let us know.
Time to sort out all of the lambs and see which ones we want to keep back to breed next year.
That's all for now.
