Right now, we’re in the middle of almond harvest with walnut harvest starting in less than 30 days (and olive harvest coming soon), and this is when all that hard work comes together. Four generations. Long days. Early mornings. Late evenings. Full orchards. And a whole lot of hands making sure the crop gets from our trees to your table.

Regenerative farming isn’t just about harvest day. It’s about caring for the soil, the trees, and the land we hope to pass on to the next generation.

Walnut harvest is t-minus 30 days! Here's what we do every harvest as a 4th generation family farm...

1. Shake the walnut trees to bring the nuts down.

2. Sweep the walnuts into clean rows so they can be picked up efficiently.

3. Harvest and collect the walnuts from the orchard.

4. Process at our huller: Clean, sort, dry, and prepare the walnuts to be shipped.

5. Ship our walnuts to our handlers that get processed and shipped to the consumer.

Harvest doesn't begin the day we shake the trees...it starts weeks before.

Before a single walnut is harvested, there's equipment to prepare, orchards to inspect, irrigation to manage, and countless details to check so everything is ready when the time is right.

As a 4th-generation regenerative family farm, every season builds on generations of experience and careful planning. The prep work may not be the most visible part of farming, but it's what helps our harvest run smoothly.

Every harvest starts with a machine that gently shakes each tree, sending ripe almonds to the orchard floor. From there, they're swept into neat rows, and then collected to head off for processing

As a 4th-generation regenerative family farm, harvest is one of our favorite (and most stressful) times of year. It's where generations of knowledge, hard work, and stewardship of the land all come together.
