Don’t miss this opportunity—applications are due March 15th!

We’re awarding twenty $1,000 scholarships to individuals passionate about the livestock show industry or livestock production. While you don’t need to be pursuing an agriculture major, a commitment to continued involvement in the livestock industry is required.

These scholarships are funded entirely by Sullivan Supply and awarded by a confidential panel of five industry leaders. To ensure fairness, no members of the Sullivan family, Sullivan Supply employees, or their immediate family members will serve on the committee or be eligible for the scholarships.

Winners will be announced on our website in May 2024.

• Open to college students (21 years or younger) and high school seniors.
• Available to U.S. and Canadian residents.
• Previous Sullivan Scholarship winners are not eligible to reapply.

Great day at Marcus fair. Champion beginner showman!!!!

Today was a great day! The girls and I headed to Dickinson County Fair to cheer on and help out the Umschied crew for their goat show. This family has joined our “show family” over the last couple of years, it has been great watching the kids grow and learn. Well today Eli punched HIS ticket to the Northwest Iowa Showdown, by winning the Champion Market Goat show at the fair, with sister Lennon with the Reserve Champion Market Goat!!! We could not be happier for their successful year!! This is the second goat from our farm this year to be qualified for the show! Thank you to Alyssa, Ben, Eli, and Lennon for taking such good care of these boys!!! Alyssa Umscheid thank you to Reck Livestock for the ability to bring your genetics to NW Iowa!!!

Saturday morning Emmalee competed in the Northwest Iowa Showdown Qualifier for Clay County. She was able to punch her ticket to the Showdown with Cha Cha. She will be our farm’s first to attend the showdown. Pretty excited to be put up against the best in Northwest Iowa!!!

Thursday the girls and I wandered down to Ida County to help Lily Ballard and her goat Jade get ready for their very first goat show. Lily clearly spent a lot of time with her goat, he was very well trained and she was on point!!
She was the Reserve Champion Senior Showman, and placed third in her class! ❤️ Jamey Ballard

The Showdown at the Lakes proved once again to be a great day! Lots of good goats today and great show kids doing what they love. This show is a great practice show for the local kids to prep for their fairs! It was great to hang with the show family and catch up after the show. The Umschied kids are always so much fun, and they work hard on their projects and helping out! Sawyer was super excited to win her reserve showman banner this year!
