Hens are proud when they lay an egg! They sing a song to inform their flockmates of their victory and to encourage other hens to lay an egg where they have.

We ❤️ our ! Check out some of our hens snuggled up in their nesting boxes and foraging outdoors. The current breeds we have are Buff Orpington, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Golden Laced Wyandotte Bantams, Black Australorps, Rhode Island Reds, and Ameracuanas.

We will have eggs any day now!
I never thought I’d have chickens. As a little girl, I always wanted to incubate or hatch an egg. We’re excited! These chickens have been so fun to raise. They all have names. The yellow Buff Orpington hen is Sunshine. The Black Australorp rooster is Brewster. The tan Amercuana is Python (as a chick it had a thick strike down its back that reminded the kids of a python 😂)
