Minnesota's first single barrel pick of has been choosen! Tim Demery of the Wright County Wh***ey Club describes this barrel "Like a late set at a Memphis Juke Joint - nothing flashy up front, then it settles in and won't leave."
Tasting notes from Tim:🥃
"Nose: Soft and unhrried. Classic bourbon: vannilla and caramel first, then a little cherry like the last red light on Beale. No shout, just the room warmin up.
Palate: Viscous, Caramel and vanilla ride the barrel, oak sitting in like a Hammond under the vocal. Heat is there at 117.4 but it stays arround. More sweat than sting.
Finish: Long and sweet. Soft and buttery caramel corn that hangs after the last chord. The kind of note you still taste walking back to the car."
Congratulations to the Wright County Wh***ey Club on the first barrel pick of Blue Note in Minnesota!
