A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to have my personal favorite food reviewer, Marc, and his father come out and give Stop, Drop & Eggroll a try.
We were excited just to have them at the truck. We never could have imagined what would come from that one video.
Since Marc posted his review, we’ve gained nearly 700 new followers, received so many new opportunities for events and private catering, and we even booked a wedding directly because someone found us through his video. 🤯❤️
For a small business like ours, that kind of exposure means more than people realize. Every new follower, every person who comes up to the truck and says, “I saw you on TikTok!,” and every new opportunity that has come our way has been incredible to experience.
But beyond the exposure, we’re especially grateful for Marc and his father as people. They were genuinely two of the nicest, most down-to-earth people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. What Marc does for small businesses goes far beyond reviewing food, one video can introduce a business to thousands of people who may have never known it existed, and we’ve been lucky enough to see the impact of that firsthand.
Marc, thank you for giving our little eggroll truck a shot, for sharing us with your audience, and for helping open doors that we never expected. We truly can’t thank you and your father enough for the support and kindness you showed us.
