Get ready for a flavor explosion with this Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta! It's creamy, spicy, and oh-so-delicious! 🍤🥩🍝
Ingredients:
For the pasta:
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
For the Cajun shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the steak:
- 1 lb steak (such as flank or ribeye)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Alfredo sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
1. Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
2. While the pasta is cooking, take your shrimp and toss them in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat and cook those shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they're pink and perfectly cooked. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
3. Next up, season your steak with the leftover Cajun seasoning. Use that same skillet (for all those tasty flavors!), add another tablespoon of olive oil, and cook your steak to your liking – around 5-6 minutes for medium-rare. Once it’s cooked to perfection, take it out and let it rest a bit before slicing.
4. Now, let’s make that dreamy Alfredo sauce! In the skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, then add in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it's all melted and smooth. Season with a little salt and pepper to taste.
5. Time to bring it all together! Toss the cooked pasta into the Alfredo sauce, and then add in your Cajun shrimp and sliced steak. Mix it all up until everything is coated in that creamy goodness.
6. Serve it hot, and if you're feeling fancy, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top for garnish. Enjoy every spicy, creamy bite!
