UPDATE TUESDAY MORNING: We checked the field this morning and decided this planting is just past the quality we want to sell, so we won’t have midweek corn after all. Our next planting should be ready Thursday evening. Thanks for understanding — we’d rather change plans than sell corn we aren’t proud of!

What an AWESOME weekend! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, stocked up, placed orders, shared our posts, and supported McCracken Family Farms. ❤️ Everyone rallied, and somehow I managed not to destroy the family business. I'd call that a successful weekend. 🌽😂

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was having a few of you show up at the stand and tell me, “I saw your Facebook post - I’m here to help!” 😂🌽 I absolutely loved it. You guys understood the assignment!

Of course, I couldn't have done it without family. From the ones who jumped in to pick, haul and sell, to everyone who checked in and offered to help - I had quite the support crew behind me and I'm pretty lucky to have them!

Seriously, THANK YOU! It was so much fun seeing you all get in on the joke and come out to support us. We appreciate every single one of you! 🌽❤️

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking a little too wet for the corn stand, so we’re changing things up!

**We will head to the field tomorrow morning and pick ONLY what’s been pre-ordered.** Your corn will be waiting for you at the **Avis American Legion from 10–10:30 AM for pickup.**

🌽 Any amount is welcome — just **message me tonight with your order! $8 a dozen, $35 a bushel**

🌽 **THEY LEFT ME IN CHARGE…** 🌽

Jimmy is gone this weekend, which means he has officially made the questionable decision to **leave me in charge of McCracken Family Farms.** 😂

And apparently, Mother Nature heard the news. Just a few days ago, we thought our next patch wasn't going to be ready.

Well… **Mother Nature is a funny lady.** 😂 We went down to the field tonight and, SURPRISE **we have A LOT of sweet corn ready to go!** 🌽🌽🌽

So here's the plan:

**You guys help me move some corn, and I'll show Jimmy what happens when he leaves me in charge.** 😏😂

Let's see if we can make it a RECORD weekend!

🌽 SWEET CORN SATURDAY! 🌽

We’ll be opening at 10 AM today at the Avis American Legion and will be there until we sell out! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone! ❤️

A little update from the farm - today will be our last day of corn for a couple of weeks. We will be moving into a new varitey, and Mother Nature helped stretch that gap a little more than we planned. 🌱🌽 Farming keeps us learning!

Every year teaches us something new. 😊
Right now, we anticipate our next patch being ready around the weekend of August 22–23, and once it starts, we’re hoping to have corn for three more weekends! 🙌

We’ll keep everyone posted as the next patch gets closer to being ready. 🌽❤️
