Video production is our mainstay. Our small studio is affordable and outside of the big Chicago scene. We have animation and green screen capability, too.
We can produce a video for your business, your band, your school, your church, or your family. A part of our business is the transferring to DVD or CD the tapes and cassettes that are sitting un-watched and not listened to because of various reasons. Since this is the day of digital sharing, copies of those tapes of the births, and first steps, and vacations, and graduations can be sent to everyon
e involved in the original shots. We've transferred hundreds in the past. And now that I am retired from the "day job" I have more time to dedicate to this. And we just started converted Smart Card videos. The other part of the business I now have more time for is the Multi-camera TV studio for your new family memories:
- Sit down, tell your stories and then share them with the rest of your extended families scattered across the globe.
- Or just make a cooking show in our kitchen studio.
- Or use our Green Screen for special effects in either Photos or Videos.
- Use the teleprompter to record your business presentation.
- Use the Projector and the studio for recording a training video. Or, think of your own use for a TV studio. Message me for an appointment to talk about your dreams and needs. We were working on a Family Heritage Video for a Joliet family, (very nice people), and they had pictures they wanted to use in the video from some elaborately created scrap books. It occurred to me that the history in those scrapbooks would be excellent for family sharing. Not just sitting down with the original book, carefully turning the now fragile pages of pasted memorabilia and keepsakes, but a fresh copy for each family unit. The book was over sized and would not fit entirely on a flatbed scanner and absolutely would not survive an over sized document feed scanner. So I experimented with photo stands, Photoshop stitching of scanned page segment and HD cameras to hone a digitized sampling of a page or two. Seeing the entire page at once tells so much more than just a series of single photos. There were documents, little birth announcements, business cards, news clippings, etc. And, the various crafty decorations in the page designs give the items a binding quality to tell the story. So the point of this is for you to get your scrapbooks out of the bottom drawer and get them to me to digitize them before they disintegrate. Glue, tape and old newspaper articles, etc. fail at some point. We/you can create a Photo Book now or later but you'll have them intact and not in pieces.

PLEASE READ: For some unknown reason, our VIDEO STUDIO was listed in a website designed to funnel people who are looking for a GYM. I believe someone used AI to make our listing, gathering items listed here on our page. In an effort to make lemonade out of this, if you are a trainer, juice maker, CDB pain cream producer, etc., and want to create a video to promote that then you are in the right place.

We were happy, (and challenged), to livestream and record the 2023 Lockport State of the City address at Ember's in downtown Lockport this past Wednesday. Here's a look at current and future happenings in our city.
Video Studio 317 in association with Road to Eternity productions are joining to produce "Family Heritage Productions". It is a way for you to preserve the history of your family for future generations, told by the patriarchs and matriarchs of your family. This is the Bill and Dorothy Worst family history, a fascinating story dating back to the early 1900s.
You can tell your story, too.
For more information feel free to contact me with an instant message.
Enjoy this look into the past.

We were on hand to record the 2022 Lockport State of the City Address. For those who have moved away and for those who are new here and for those who know what a great city we have, here it is:

Hello. We are creating a documentary of the Lockport cemetery on Madison and 7th street. We have stories about many of the elder families from early days of Lockport and we would like to include any family pictures you may have of those people and their accomplishments and artifacts of 19th century life, whether that would be a farm, a building, wedding pictures, quarry workers, a deed, a brewery, hardware store, grain mill, horse and buggy, hitching posts, horse and plow, revolutionary war relic, early sewing machine, Congregational church's early pictures, early First National bank building, pottery, weaving, tree lined streets of the cemetery, gates of the cemetery, "death" pictures, McPhee funeral home, etc.
In this episode we have concentrated on the following families and are seeking their pictures specifically, but generic pictures of 19th century life are also important: Rev John Lee, John Fiddyment, Ichabod Codding, Armstead Runyon, Boyer family, Peter Sager, Collins, Perry Corneau, Joel Manning, John Lane, Isaac Meritt Singer, William Gooding, John Milne, Erastus Newton, Hiram Norton, John L Norton, Norton Mills, John W. Norton, Julius Sheibe, Dillinghams, Thomas E, Donnelley and Richard R Donnelley. Ruben H. and Thomas Donnelley, Ga***rd Donnelley Dorothy Donnelley, Ledger Hill, George Ga***rd.
Please let me know of any you would like to share. We will digitize them and return them straight away, while you wait in most cases. Instant message me for more information or appointment for digitizing or if they are already in shareable format, include them and a description in the instant message. Deadline is approaching fast. Thank you

Lockport Ducks kept our local business afloat this summer and they are going up for auction this week. So I made this little promo:

So bored I made this little animation of part of a reading from the book based on Cindy's mom's experiences in a WWII mobile hospital unit. Yeah that's me based from a still picture. I can make one from yours, too. Maybe a Thanksgiving greeting? A video Christmas card? Birthday? PM me to talk about it. 🎬🎤🎧

Hello.
Things have been slow, as you all know, for small businesses like ours. In my spare time I have been clearing out the attic and finding a lot of photos that I wanted to share with my family and friends spread throughout the country.
I looked for a service that would scan them into digital files. The ones I found relied on a shipping service to send my prints. No offense to anyone in that industry but these pictures are one of a kind and no amount of insurance would replace them.
So, I decided to do them on my own. It does take time but I am comfortable doing the job and have a production line system that let’s me do them at a good rate of speed.
I now want to offer to scan YOUR pictures. I am near downtown Lockport. If you are nearby you won’t have to rely on a shipping service and I will get your pictures and digital files back to you very quickly.
My proposal to you is this: if you bring 100 photos, not in albums, I will digitize them for $10. That includes both sides of the prints, in case there is a description on the back. It also includes an enhanced version that adds color restoration and red-eye reduction, to breathe new life into old photos.
They will scan at 600 dpi. Great for archiving, enlarging and cropping. 1200 dpi is available for one cent more per picture. I have no limit on the number of prints to scan.
Your choice of either .jpg or .tiff formatting.
Please feel free to ask any questions. E-mail [email protected] Put PHOTOS n the subject line.
More services are available but I want to concentrate on this while I have spare time.

We were privileged to be invited to record the 2019 Take Back the Night Vigil and March last week at Joliet Central High School campus. We have not been to one in a few years. It is frustrating to see more and more names attached to the list of women and children killed due to domestic violence. This year's speaker highlights both preventative and recovery measures to take to avoid the ultimate costs. From counseling new college students to be aware of date r**e tactics to having a getaway strategy for women caught in an abusive relationship Dr. Scanlon tells the stories of violence, prevention, and, recovery. More info anout her work is at www.http://scanlonworks.com/
To be honest I ripped off the opening from the Take Back the Night video I did in 2006 because it is still relevant. Forgive me .
