This afternoon on the Farm, I took Karen to look at the state of the art birthing center.

She didn’t seem too interested. You can lead a momma pig to hay but you can’t make her stay!

We will see where she lands. How many babies do you think she will have?

Today on the Farm, somebody had babies! But it wasn’t Karen.

While everyone was eating I drove down to see if the carport area was dry enough for me to throw some hay under there and bless my little wet heart what did I see but 4 dry babies!!!! Smart Momma!

I didn’t get a picture because they were freaked out when I put hay down and started running in the mud and rain. I will get one later.

I told you Karen holds them in. She will wait until it’s colder and then plop them out in a big mud puddle! Maybe she will go join the other Mom under the birthing center.

Let the baby explosion begin!

I’m glad the pigs don’t care one little bit what I look like because this morning I went with wet farm girl chic.

I will clean up a little, headed out soon to meet our Farm Friend Amanda Manley with Howard Southdowns to pick up some lamb.

Today on the Farm baby watch!

If I were a betting woman I would have bet Karen was going to deliver in the storm last night. She always picks the worst weather!

She got up to eat with everybody this morning, then laid back down. I tried to put hay around her but she got up to eat that and the Brussels sprout scraps I brought just for her.

She is definitely in labor but who knows with her, I swear she holds them in.

It’s full kitchen production for the next few days as we get ready for a double header this weekend!

You can find us on Saturday at Rogers County Farmers Market at the courthouse from 8-12

Countrymen BBQ in Inola from 4-7

Today on the Farm it way hay day!

A big thank you to Johnny Cobb for loading us up. Made a quick drop off at Murphy Road Farms then time to unload.

When Bill wanted the dump trailer I was like why??? But it has paid for itself over and over and continues to be one of our most useful farm tools.

Boys and their big equipment toys!

They have tried to order stuff from us several times this year and we have been out of stock!!

Arnetta saw my post yesterday and drove from Wagoner to Rogers County Farmers Market and sold us out!
