Hay friends and family! Just wanted to say thanks for sharing this post so much last time and thanks for the support. We were able to satisfy several new customers and couldn’t have done it without your help. Hay for sale! Horse quality square bales first cutting $7/bale and second cutting $8/bale mainly orchardgrass. Sold in bundles of 21 bales. Bales weigh 55lbs. Delivery available at additional charge. Discounts for tractor trailer load quantities.
Well 2020 threw some curve balls so we decided to throw a few back. The first crop of corn, planted after we harvested triticale for hay, this year did not make much with the extreme dry weather we had through June and July. We end up chopping the corn at the end of July. We had some left over seed so we decided to try it again. We planted our triple crop corn on the 1st of August. It almost made it far enough to be able to harvest for grain but the frost got it. We had it chopped last weekend and couldn’t believe how well it turned out. Thanks to Lakeside Dairy for their helping chopping and David Grey for great Hubner seed corn as always!

Straw season has been going pretty well with just a few minor breakages the first barn is getting full!
Well needle less to say we had to call it a day early yesterday. New parts in hand should be ready to roll again in a bit. Between random rain storms it’s been going pretty steady though.
