Looking for things to do? Our cutting fields are developing, admittedly a little slow but who are we to complain when it has been so dry! Italian cutting petunias, snapdragons, guara and lavender are all here and ready for you. Priced by the stem with pricing listed on a sheet in the field, they are waiting for you! Most things are around $1 per stem fyi with discounts if purchasing by the 10 stem bunch. Cash in the field or venmo to saltwaterflowerfarm. Parking is in front of the Airstream and we are open dawn to dusk.

Please note to cut deep on all varieties listed! New stems will branch from where you cut so this encourages future long stems. Feel free to deadhead for us too, it helps keep the flowers coming!

As if we didn't have enough going on, we bought the little old gas station next to ! Maybe it will have outdoor seating and specialty beer and wine to enjoy surrounded by our plants and flowers for purchase and other gardeny things! Maybe I will keel over from stress and it won't 😆 but we are excited!! Getting started on primer and new paint now 🙌.

A little clarity on our "cut your own" roses offering. The field is open from dawn to dusk and as long as we have roses to cut you can come cut them! Some rose stems may have more than one bloom close together; that still counts as one stem. However we ask that you not cut down an entire stalk and call it one stem :). We are located at 28102 Drummondtown Rd in Onley, VA. Parking is at the front of the field to the right of our house in front of the Airstream. Our house is private property but you may cross our front yard to visit our rescue horses!

Who wants to come pick roses? We are swimming in our heirloom and specialty roses, please come help! We are offering them at $2 per stem or 12 for $20. We provide clippers but please bring your own bucket for transport. We accept cash and venmo. Cut roses deep, above a leaf node at an angle please! We also have purple salvia and limited baptisia and anemone avaliable with pricing provided at the field. Parking is in front of the airstream. Message us with any questions!

We got the first of our two new hoophouses complete and it is James approved! We will be able to propagate plants and start seedlings in here, protected from the elements in a stable environment. The second house will be for direct planting to not only do season extension but to provide a cool (well, COOLER) place for some less heat tolerant plants in the summer. And to provide you, our loyal flower pickers, with a shadier spot to do your own cutting in the summer heat!

So beautiful but show how incredibly hardy tulips are because they are all in absolutely perfect condition and ready for picking all this week!
