A huge congratulations to Abby Woods, who is Liberty Ranch’s first National Proficiency Finalist! Abby’s Service Learning SAE Project grew from a Living to Serve project she developed after attending the Washington Leadership Conference. She took the lead in transforming an elementary school garden by laying w**d cloth, preparing a chicken coop, removing more than 100 pounds of w**ds, communicating with the school, and coordinating volunteer groups. Abby will interview in September, and will take the Lucas Oil Stadium stage in October when they announce the National Winner. Congratulations, Abby!!

Even though it’s summertime, Liberty Ranch FFA members haven’t slowed down! ☀️🌸

While some of our members are preparing for national finals, attending conferences and fairs, and planning for the upcoming school year, our Floriculture Pathway students have been hard at work as well! Over the Fourth of July weekend, our students set up at the Galt Saturday Market, where they sold fresh-cut flowers grown right here on our school flower farm, along with succulents left over from our Mother’s Day plant sale.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support our students and ag education. Your support helps provide valuable, hands-on learning experiences that extend far beyond the classroom! 💙💛

We are so excited that four Liberty Ranch FFA members attended the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington, D.C. this summer! 🇺🇸💙💛 Through leadership workshops, service projects, and connecting with members from across the country, our students gained valuable experiences and lifelong memories. Students were able to create a “Living to Serve” community service plan to execute when they return to LRHS this year. Check out their highlights below!👇

⭐ Haley Andrews: “My favorite part was meeting people from all over the country and learning about their experiences. It showed me how big and impactful FFA truly is.”

✨Sydney Church: “My favorite part of WLC was packing 65,000 meals for Meals of Hope and getting to share the experience with some amazing roommates.”

✨Ainsley Robbins: “I loved seeing how different we all are, yet how our shared passion for FFA and agriculture brought us together.”

✨Madi Pauley: “My biggest takeaway was the power of community. Small actions can make a huge impact when people come together with a shared purpose.”
