🌱 Vineyard Update 🌱

We’re continuing to see great growth and strong progress in our newly grafted vines!

With the new variety establishing itself, our next step is to come through and remove any growth from the old variety. This process, known as suckering, helps direct the vine’s energy where we want it most—into the new grafts—giving them the best opportunity to thrive and develop into healthy, productive vines.

Every stage of grafting requires attention to detail, but it’s exciting to watch these vines take hold and begin their next chapter.

☀️ We’re kicking off summer the best way we know how — with wine, food, friends, and plenty of events!

Here’s what’s happening at Pressley Vineyards this week:
🍷 Rio Vista Farmers Market
Join us this Thursday from 4–7 PM as we return to the Rio Vista Farmers Market! We’ll be pouring wines on the first Thursday of every month from June through September. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet some new ones.
🍽️ Annual Winemaker’s Dinner at Ben’s Friends of the Vine
This week we’re also hosting our annual Winemaker’s Dinner with Ben’s Friends of the Vine. Expect delicious bites thoughtfully paired with Pressley wines, great conversation, and an unforgettable evening. A few seats are still available—call Ben’s Friends of the Vine to reserve your tickets!

A little vineyard update from Pressley Vineyards 🌱🍇

Our grafted buds are officially two weeks old and making great progress taking to the vine. Right now, our focus is on water management and maintaining strong sap flow to keep feeding the young buds and support healthy development. Next, we’ll begin training the new growth up onto the vines. Stay tuned for more grafting updates!
