We forgot it again this year and realized weeks later, which is absolutely on-brand for us.

Apparently, we’re better at being married than remembering when we started.

At this point, it’s not forgetfulness. It’s tradition.

It was a harmless move, open the door, let the dog in. Dear God, it was seriously like a bomb of noxious fumes exploded in my face and assaulted my nose!
The dog rushed in, caring the stench and happily spreading it through the entire house I knew that smell... he had encountered a skunk, and lost. 🤦‍♀️😫
This was not a drive by spray like last time, this was a full on event 💩😳🦨
He popped up on the sofa and settled in for a snooze, oblivious to the idea that I might not want the smell spread all over the furniture.
I felt kind of bad for him, all his dog friends avoided him and since there was no coming back from the odor invasion, I left him.
I realize this was a mistake, but I'm a softy.❤️🤷‍♀️
There are not enough candles or Febreze in the world, to get the stench of out of my house 😅
