Last night is one I’ll treasure forever, as it was my very first time seeing Making Movies live — and let me tell you, they were exceptional! Enrique, Duncan, and Arthur brought stadium-level energy and presence to an intimate club in the heart of Hollywood and absolutely tore the roof off the place.

I couldn’t be more proud to have them as our very first El Músico Tequila Signature Artist. We’re almost there, and soon everyone will be be able to Taste The Music™ of this genre-defying powerhouse from Kansas City by way of Panama.

🔥 Last night The Mystery Shop was absolute fire. Making Movies tore the place apart with a set full of rhythm, sweat, and pure movement, from start to finish.

Sharing the night with JOATA, The Lion Heart, and Unsound Sunday, the whole lineup brought serious energy and proved once again that the underground scene is alive and loud. Groove-driven Latin rock, punk chaos, distorted guitars, bodies moving, speakers shaking and zero dead moments.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Any day you can celebrate Mexican culture and drink is a win in our book. But here’s something a lot of people get wrong: isn’t Mexican Independence Day, and it’s not widely celebrated across all of Mexico.

What it does mark is the Battle of Puebla in 1862, when a smaller, under-equipped Mexican army pulled off a stunning victory against French forces. It didn’t end the war, but it became a powerful symbol of resilience, pride, and defiance.

In the U.S., the celebration took on a life of its own, amplified by beer and alcohol brands that helped turn it into one of the biggest drinking days of the year. And look, we’re not mad about that. But if you’re going to celebrate, it’s worth knowing the story behind it.
