Our move to Colorado as a divine move. We were in Waco Tx touring Baylor University who was offer my hubby a job. We were looking at homes in Waco when he got a text from his connection at CU. We looked up cost of living and said no we can’t but when my husband told his contact at CU about Waco and what we were doing, he asked what Waco was offering and then told us to give him some time before we accept Baylor’s offer. He called us back and they offered to match Baylor’s offer. We have always love the mountains and our trips to Colorado. We obviously accepted.
When we came to look for a house, it was a seller’s market. We looked at this house that looked so much different but it was just a little over our price range. So we placed bids on other homes and were out bid. We placed a bid on another home just before we had to leave and return back home to Oklahoma. We got out bid again. Then our realtor said this house was still available and we could offer lower than what they were asking and just see. So we did and to our surprise they accepted! This has been such a wonderful house for our family! It has often times felt like God was hiding this home just for us because no one was bidding on it and there have been no underlying issues. To this day it has baffled me why no bidded on it. It has a big back yard and yes it has come along way but there was nothing wrong with it. It was meant for us. God is good and has alway provided for us!
